The text reads:

Things like this give me hope in the world.
JC Penny got a lot of shit from anti-gay groups just because Ellen Degeneres was their spokeswomen. The fact that they are running this ad in light of all that drama just makes me respect this company even more. Props, JC Penny. I love you and your reasonably priced goods.
